How do I create a personal reminder for me to write in my JRNL?

Within the JRNL system, all users can set a reminder to write in their journal. A paid account (Power JRNLer) is not required to activate this feature.
To set a reminder,** the first thing you want to do is make sure that reminders are enabled.** To do that, you will want to click on the avatar in the upper right hand corner of your JRNL.com screen. If you haven't personalized your avatar yet, it will look like the following image:

Click this avatar icon will take you to you to the Settings section.

From there, you will want to click on the Reminders tab along the left hand side to customize the Reminders section.

Next, you will want to click on the Add a Reminder button to select the details for your new reminder.

Clicking this button will allow you to define the settings for this specific reminder, which will include:
Fill in all the details
Select which journal should send you a reminder
Choose your frequency and you also can include a custom message if you'd like.
Click the Add a Reminder button when you're finished.

One of the greatest benefits of email-based reminders is creating an entry is so easy. All you have to do is reply to the reminder email and the entry will appear in the designated journal*

*PRO TIP: Add your journal-specific email addresses to your contacts, that way you know which journal will receive the email-created journal entry.

NOTE: You can set a reminder for each journal in your account, but only one reminder per journal.
