How do I email and entry to my journal?

Q. How do I email an entry into my journal?

A. In the upper right hand corner of your screen you will see your avatar. Click on the image and you will see Settings in the middle of your screen.



Once in Settings, on the left hand side of your screen, you’ll see several options, one being Email to JRNL, select that.



From this Email to JRNL tab you will see a designated email address for each journal you've created. You can choose to copy the email address by dragging your cursor over it to highlight it, or click on the copy to clipboard icon on the right hand side. Then you can add to your email account with a name that you will remember.



If for any reason you no longer want the specific email address associated with a specific journal, you can click the Change an Address button below your list of journals.



This will bring up a new box with Change an Address at the top. If you click in the box in the middle, it will drop down the list of all your journals, and you can select which journal you want a new email address for. Select the journal you want to change and then click the Change Address button.



We have also added an extra layer of security, to prevent anyone who may have access to the email address to send content to your journal. Below the Change an Address section, there is a section for adding an Authorized Email Sender. You will want to click on the Add a Sender button.



This will bring up a smaller screen for you to insert an email address that you approve to send to your account. Add the email address you would like to add then click the Add Sender button. This will add the sender to your account.

*Please note, Email to JRNL only accepts the following attachment formats: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, .tiff.
